New Recruits

After a bit of inspired thinking by my colleague, Simon, our contributor count has pretty much doubled. We hope this will have an effect on the size and quality of the Britstock Photo library. We've begun the process of initiating the new recruits, and hopefully they will be uploading their work very soon.

Now, at the close of our third week of operations, we begin to concentrate on getting people to buy our photos. We've been working out who we want to attract to our products, and we've been looking at more ways to spread the word about Britstock Photo. We think it's vitally important to target the right people and businesses, but it's not as easy as it sounds.

Don't forget we have an ongoing scheme to encourage members to recommend a friend to us. If your friend or colleague signs up to Britstock Photo and buys PicPoints, we give you some bonus points by way of saying thank you.

We'd be very happy, too, if you'd tell people about our Facebook page (look for Britstock Photo), and that they can follow us on Twitter (twitter.com/britstockphoto). I'm told we've also joined LinkedIn. There's a lot of this social networking about these days. It's hard to keep up sometimes!
